The event also highlights the town’s rich artistic heritage — including Manheim’s historic connection to glassblowing, a craft that helped shape the region’s early identity.

A signature feature of the festival is the Quick Draw Competition, where artists race against the clock to create a finished piece in just a short window of time. Spectators can watch the creative process unfold in real time, then bid on their favorite works during the post‑competition sale.
