The chicken BBQ event in October is a large fundraiser for our Library! Get your Advance Tickets while there are still some left! The Annual Quarryville Library Center Chicken BBQ includes a yard sale and a book sale. The event will take place on Saturday, 25 October, the sale will be held at the Quarryville Library Center, 357 Buck Road, Quarryville, PA.

Chicken BBQ:
A donation of $10 includes a BBQ half chicken by the Wakefield Lions Club, bag of potato chips, applesauce cup, and a bottle of water. We will also have whoopie pies for sale on the day of the event. Advance BBQ tickets are available at the Circulation Desk! We  accept cash, checks, and credit cards. Please note that advance ticket holders must pick up their meals by noon the day of the event.

Book sale:
Visit the library lobby and the Pennington Room to browse our book selection. Patrons can browse through fiction and nonfiction books, children’s books, games, puzzles and more. There will be a great selection. Books will cost $1 for hardbacks and only 50 cents for paperbacks. Profits from the sale support the Quarryville Library Center. Bring bags or boxes to carry home your purchases.

Indoor/outdoor yard sale:
Come find treasures donated by community members. Most items are pay-what-you-will; some will have suggested minimum donations.
