Praise Focus-Heavens and Skies
JOHN SHIRK – Today’s Praise Focus comes from Psalm 19:1.
“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.”
When David looked into the night sky, he saw a beautiful display of brilliant lights by the hand of his Creator.
The LORD himself said in Isaiah 40:26-“Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing.”
The universe is a big place. Mankind continues to explore the frontiers of space and is fascinated by the mystery of what is beyond us. This draws attention to a big God who is familiar with the details of His creation.
The heavens and skies that God created are reasons to praise Him in the Year of Focus.
