5) The 22nd Annual Truckers Day @ the Buck is being held at the Buckmotorsports Park, Quarryville, tomorrow, (Sat Aug 13.) Safe Truck Drivers Rodeo, Jamboree and an auction to benefit the Miracle Kids @ Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital. Free admission!

4) iRock in my community is being held today and tomorrow (Aug 12 and 13.) It is a Lancaster youth event featuring zumba, literacy education, basketball clinic, fire safety, bowling, fitness challenge and more. There will also be a concert on Saturday at 7pm at the Family Life Community Church, 1204 Wabank Road in Lancaster. For more info call 717-615-4498

3) Abandon in Concert! Sunday (Aug 14) at the First Baptist Church, 1015 Chambersburg Rd Gettysburg. Doors open at 6:30, concert starts at 7pm.Concert is FREE a love offering will be taken Phone: 717-334-2564

2) Anavah’s Heart Fundraiser on Sun. (Aug. 14th) from 3-6PM at Elizabethtown Park Amphitheater. WJTL will be there from 3-5PM. Bands include Steven Courtney, Kim Goss and Freely Bound, from LBC. A free will offering will be taken to help support Anavah and her family as they prepare for her 4th open heart surgery.

1) HOPE International Pathways Out Of Poverty Exhibit Open House happening tomorrow, (Sat. Aug. 13th) from 9AM-3PM at their office at 227 Granite Run Drive in Lancaster. It’s a day for families to experience the exhibit, participate in games, enjoy food and listen to live music.

5) Children’s Choir of Lancaster and Voices of Cecilia will present the concert – “Hope for All Seasons” Sunday (May 15) 7pm at Hempfield United Methodist Church in Lancaster. A free will offering will be taken

4) Joseph Barrale, Author of The Adventures of Bobby Bear Baker will have a book signing tomorrow (Saturday, May 14th) from 1-3pm at Rockvale Outlets / Strasburg Children

3) The Second Annual Alpacas of York Shearing Day and Fiber Festival Open House tomorrow (Saturday May 14) from 10am to 4pm, Grantley Rd. in York.  Rain or Shine. Meet Alpacas and roam the farm.  More info at www.alpacasofyork.com

2) THE 3RD ANNUAL AFRICAN FESTIVAL IN LANCASTER
Sunday (May 15) at the FARM AND HOME CENTER, Arcadia Rd. in Lancaster from 12noon- 6pm. Featuring African music, drumming, food, fashion, kids activities, stories and poems. More info at www.theafricanfestival.com

5) Lancaster Bible College is hosting the Lancaster County INtercollegiate Band Festival tonight (Friday) 7:30PM featuring bands from Franklin & Marshall College, Millersville University, Elizabethtown College and Lancaster Bible College. Admission is free.

4) Steven Courtney+ the Suitcase Musicians will be in concert tonite (Friday) at Reidenbaugh Elementary in Lititz, 7:00 PM. www.stevencourtney.com

3) Gap Annual Spring Mud Sale and Auction, Saturday, beginning at 8:00am at Gap Fire Co., Gap, PA
Horse-drawn carriages, buggies, wagons, new & used furniture, quilts, crafts, dry goods, groceries and more. This is a unique Central PA experience!

2) The Academy Strings Quintet in concert as part of Garden Spot Village Saturday Evening Concert Series. Saturday night 7pm – Garden Spot Village – New Holland. The concert is free and open to the public. Donations to the Garden Spot Village Benevolent Fund, which helps support residents who need financial assistance, will be accepted.

1) Spring Amphibian Walk with Forgotten Friend’s Jesse Rothacker. Tonight (Friday) 7pm at the Governor Dick Nature Center in Mt. Gretna, wood frogs, spotted salamanders, tad poles, spring peepers and lots of baby amphibians. www.forgottenfriend.org
