Wild Harbors in Concert

March 7th, 2020 Comments off

Forty years. That’s how long the Israelites wandered in the desert before they entered the Promised Land. It’s true, they were a forgetful people; but along the way, they built monuments—reminders of God’s faithfulness throughout their journey. We, too, are forgetful. That’s why it’s important to be reminded of the places where God moved in our past, so we can be expectant of the ways He’ll move in our future. For husband/wife alt-pop duo Wild Harbors, building a monument became not just a significant ritual but an affirmation that the good things in life are worth the risk.

The couple’s full-length debut, Monument, is a tribute to the altars they’ve built and the chances they’ve taken to create a life together in music and marriage.

Wild Harbors is comprised of husband and wife singer-songwriters Chris and Jenna Badeker.

Formed in 2017, the alternative pop outfit creates gutsy, lyric-driven songs laced with intricate vocal harmonies. Confronted with the knowledge that each person is given one short life to live, they put their previous careers aside to step into the adventure of music and invite other people to live their own adventures. Their debut full-length album, Monument, was produced by Andrew Osenga in Nashville, TN and released March 15, 2019.

Wild Harbors will perform live at Christ Church United Church of Christ at 247 S. Market Street in Elizabethtown. – the community is invited.  A free-will offering will be received.
