Outdoor Hymn Sing

West Green Tree Church in Elizabethtown will hold an Outdoor Hymn Sing on Sunday, May 16th at 6:30pm. Bring lawn chairs and blankets and get ready to sing the Hymns of the Christian faith. If you are interested submitting a request to sing at the Hymn Sing, please call the Church office at 717-653-5367.

Once Upon a Time: A Virtual Youth Cabaret

Once Upon a Time is a virtual, original concert-style show based on the magical world of fairy tales, superheroes, science fiction, and fantasy, performed by students ages 10-18. The 4-week program culminates in a virtual performance on March 12th at 7:00PM.

Dr. Robert Horton Concert

Dr. Robert C. Horton, Holy Trinity Lancaster Organist and Choirmaster, will perform a concert at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Columbia Pa featuring the organ, harpsichord and piano. A free will offering will be accepted and the program is open to the community.

Concert goers are invited to arrive to St. John’s promptly by 3:00 pm to enjoy the hour long concert being held in the large beautiful sanctuary.

Dr. Horton holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in organ performance from the University of Kansas, a Master of Music in Organ from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in East Asian Studies from Cornell University. He has been Holy Trinity Lutheran’s organist since September 2014. In 2018 Robert placed 2nd in the American Guild of Organists National Competition.

St. John Lutheran follows CDC guidelines. Please wear a facemask and sit 6 feet apart. Concert will be live streamed on St. John Lutheran’s Facebook page.
