Focus on God’s Goodness-Grace

JOHN SHIRK – Today’s Focus on God’s Goodness is found in Romans 3:23 and 24.

All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

God’s grace has the power to change us from a sinner to a saint. The Bible tells us that righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. So, God covers the sins of the believer with the righteousness of Christ. We cannot earn God’s grace with human merit or buy God’s grace with any amount of money. Grace is a gift to be received by faith. When we believe the Gospel and follow Jesus wholeheartedly, we are set free from sin and experience the peace of God’s forgiveness.

Grace reveals the Goodness of God and is a reason to give thanks in the Year of Gratitude.
