God Quote-The Will of God

JOHN SHIRK – In the Year of God’s Word, this is what the Lord says in John 6:38.

Jesus said, “I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me.”

Jesus was aware of His mission on earth. His focus was on doing and completing the Father’s will. His example gives our lives a meaningful focus point-Align our will with God’s will.

Later, Jesus explains the Father’s will with more detail.

“This is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”
