Ways to Reach Out to Lisa During Her Illness

August 20th, 2013

As many of you know, Lisa Landis was hospitalized on June 26th with a serious bacterial infection.  Many of you have expressed interest in leaving a message for Lisa. This page would be a great way to do that. Simply leave your reply to this message and we will pass your well-wishes along to Lisa and her family.

Some listeners and organizations have also asked about organizing a Get Well card shower for Lisa.  If your church or organization or family is interested in doing that you can send your cards to WJTL, 1875 Junction Road, Manheim, PA 17545 Attn: Lisa Landis, and we will pass them along to Lisa and her family as well.

Additionally, many have been asking about ways to help Lisa during her lengthy illness and Hospital Stay. If you would like to help with Lisa’s Medical & Rehabilitation Expenses, a special fund has been set up.  Please send your gift to…

Please Indicate on your check that this is for the

or call or visit the FULTON BANK branch nearest you.

Thank You!

Praying for ya. May God give you the strength to endure this battle.
Psa 23:1 A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
Psa 23:2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
Psa 23:3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Psa 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Psa 23:5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Psa 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
May these words be of comfort for this hour and season in your life. 🙂

As with so many other families, you have been a Saturday morning staple for me and my kids. We met you once at an Earth Day event at Saad’s and my kids were very uncooperative. You were amazing with them! My heart breaks for you and your family. Please know that so many are praying for your speedy healing, comfort, and peace.

I’m so sorry for your current health issues! You are in my wife and my prayers and I’ll leave you with this saying!
“What then shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his son but gave him up for us, how will he not also along with him graciously give us all things. Peace of Goid be with you!

    Dear Lisa-

Praying for wisdom for the doctors and for complete healing. May these words from Beth Moore provide some comfort:

“Remember, faith is never the denial of reality. It is belief in a greater reality. In other words the truth may be that you are presently surrounded by terrifying or terribly discouraging circumstances. The reason you don’t have to buckle to fear and discouragement is the presence of God in the middle of your circumstances. Call upon Him to step His One and Only Shoes onto your territory and take over like the commander of the LORD’S Army in Joshua 5:15. Hear Him say to you the words He said to Joshua: “Take off your sandals for the place you are standing is holy.” That place, that circumstance is holy because God stands in it with you! You don’t have to fill His shoes, Dear One. Take off your sandals and walk barefoot in His wake.”
    —–Beth Moore, “Believing God”

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

    God Bless,

    Wendy Wallace
