Praise Focus-Identity of Jesus and Marvelous Mercy

JOHN SHIRK – Today’s Praise Focus comes from John 9, verses 36 and 37.

Jesus opened the eyes of a blind man. Then, He said to the man, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?”

The man asked, “Who is he, sir? Tell me so that I may believe in him.”

Jesus said, “You have now seen him; in fact, he is the one speaking with you.”

Then the man said, “Lord, I believe,” and he worshiped him.

This man experienced two miracles in a short space of time. He gained physical sight, and spiritual eyes for seeing Jesus. He saw Jesus for who He is, and was moved to a place of worship.

The identity of Jesus and His marvelous mercy are reasons to praise God in the Year of Focus.
