Praise Focus-The Gospel

JOHN SHIRK – Today’s Praise Focus comes from Romans 1:16.

“For I am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes; first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.”

The Gospel is good news for the people in the world. It’s worth sharing with others with boldness and humility. We are loved by the God who created us. Even though we have broken His laws and grieved His heart, He has sent Jesus into the world so that we might be made right with God. His grace has the power to restore what sin has taken away.

Romans 1:17 says, “In the gospel, the righteousness of God is revealed-a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: ‘the righteous will live by faith.’”

The Gospel is a reason to praise God in the Year of Focus.
