JOHN SHIRK – Today’s Word from God’s Word is Follow.

To follow Jesus is to go where He leads us. Whenever Jesus extended an invitation for someone to become His disciple, He would say, “Follow me.”

That is the priority of the person who puts their faith in Jesus. We learn to follow Him. He comes to us with the offer of salvation, freedom, and hope. His teachings offer us wisdom that puts our lives on a sure foundation that will stand the test of time. He comes to us with His loving arms of grace to forgive our sins and lead us in the path of His righteousness.

In John 8:12, Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
