Today’s Word from God’s Word-Small
JOHN SHIRK – Today’s Word from God’s Word is Small.
The prophet Zechariah asked the question in Zechariah 4:10, “Who dares despise the day of small things?”
Evidently, God is able to provide big blessings with small offerings. Jesus blessed the widow who put two very small copper coins into the offering plate. He fed over 5,000 people with the offering of five small barley loaves and two small fish. And mighty breakthroughs are possible when we have faith as small as a mustard seed.
So, if we feel like we have a small amount to offer God, remember what a mighty God is able to do with our time, talents, and resources.
Jesus said in Luke 16:10, “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much.” Starting small is a good starting place for doing great things for God.
