My husband Steve is a great Dad to our five kids. Our oldest son asked Steve to adopt him when Steve was his PE teacher from 3rd grade to 5th grade. He is Mr. Fix-It and loves to teach our kids how to fix things, teaching our girls to change their own flat tire and check their oil when they got their driver’s license. He insists I am the patient one, but he is the one that taught them to drive! He is wonderful with our niece with special needs and has been working with children with special needs for over 20 years. He has taught our children to be thoughtful and kind to others by his example of caring for and reaching out to those around us with special needs.
