Word from God’s Word-Confidence

JOHN SHIRK – Today’s Word from God’s Word is Confidence.

One definition of confidence is having trust or faith. This is how we can approach God with our needs, concerns, and petitions, knowing that He cares for us.

Hebrews 4:15 and 16 says, “We do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are, yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”

Jesus sees us, He loves us. He cares for us in our time of need and is able to help us. He is uniquely qualified to save us from sin and to purify us from all unrighteousness.
