Word from God’s Word-Grace

JOHN SHIRK – Today’s Word from God’s Word is Grace.

To be in God’s grace is to have God’s unmerited favor. By God’s grace, sinners are converted to saints, and receive blessings beyond measure.

Ephesians 2:8 says. “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.”

And Romans 3:22 says, “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement through the shedding of his blood-to be received by faith.”

That is what the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus was all about-to offer us the gift of grace, so that we might be redeemed, restored, and reconciled to God.
