WJTL is gearing up to broadcast live at Roundtop Mountain Resort for the Cardboard Derby on Sunday, January 27th. At Roundtop, they’ve been making snow for 45 years, so conditions are good for all kinds of outdoor winter activities. The Cardboard Derby theme this year is “Barnyard Bonanza”–we can’t wait to see what everybody creates! There’s still time for you to craft your own snow vessel with some friends or family. Prizes will be awarded for originality, team spirit, construction and costumes in youth and adult divisions. For rules and registration info, click the Cardboard Derby Banner at www.WJTL.com!

This week’s Feedback Giveback prize is new artist, Moriah Peters‘, CD “I Choose Jesus”. Moriah’s CD was among the favorites of 2012 for many in the industry, including New Release Tuesday‘s Sarah Fine. She wrote that the album “is quite possibly the best debut from a female vocalist Christian music has seen since Francesca Battistelli‘s “My Paper Heart” back in 2008. Musically fun, relevant and inspiring, Moriah’s passion is evident on each track and her personal convictions coming as the driving force behind the lyrics take each song and send it soaring to new heights. This will undoubtedly go down as one of my top 10 albums of 2012, and I hope to see this debut catapult her to the same level of success the aforementioned Battistelli found with hers.”
