BackPack To School Contest 2014

August 18th, 2014

It’s officially BackPack to School season–the time of the year when we gather the many supplies that our kids need to start the school year!  We know that those expenses add up quickly.  That’s why WJTL is inviting you to nominate a family that could use some help this year.  Winners of our BackPack to School Contest will receive a brand new backpack filled with school supplies–AND–$200 to finish up their back-to-school shopping!
Our 6 winners will be announced each Monday, Wednesday & Friday on the Get up and Go Show August 11th through August 22nd, 2014.
WJTL’s BackPack to School Contest is underwritten by:  1-800-GOT-JUNK, celebrating 25 years of full-service junk removal for your home or business including offices, retail locations, construction sites, and more.  1-800-GOT-JUNK.com and on Facebook.

HOW TO ENTER:

Email BackPack@WJTL.com and tell us your name and address.  Also include the name, kids’ ages or grades, city and phone number or email address of the family you would like to nominate for our contest.  Entries must be received by Noon on Wednesday, August 20, 2014.

We’ll choose 6 winners randomly and announce them on the Get Up & Go Show. (Winners will be contacted before their name is mentioned on the radio.)  Each winner will receive a backpack with some school supplies and $200 to help with Back To School expenses.

I am nominating this single mother, struggling to raise her two daughters completely alone. It has been very difficult for her to send these 2 girls to Christian School, but what a blessing it has been for them. Winning this back-pack contest would be such a blessing for a family who struggles to pay for even small necessities every month.
