Enjoying the countdown. Suggestion for the next time you have voting, please add more songs to the voting options. I wanted to vote for Laura Story but you didn’t have any of her Christmas songs available. Emmanuel is probably my favorite all time Christmas song and I couldn’t vote for it.
Hey Warner, Thanks for your comment. I’m sorry that Laura Story’s Emmanuel wasn’t available. In order to get what we thought would be a true Top 100 list we needed to limit the songs. Otherwise our concern was that too many songs would just get one vote and the bottom half of the Top 100 would just be a lot of songs with minimal votes. Despite it not being perfect we hope you are enjoying the Top 100 Christmas Countdown.

Phredd, hopefully you understood the comments I previously made & why I agreed with others about some of the limited choices of songs to vote for. That being said, there certainly were some MAJOR surprises as to some of the songs that actually MADE the list, both good AND bad, & a few shocking ones as to how low or high other songs were. And there were only 2 Amy songs in the Top 10 (I was predicting that but thought there might be more). I guess the Archives crowd (I’m in that group) picked Evie over some other classic artists (Come On Ring Those Bells is an awesome track though I didn’t end up voting for it). I was pleasantly surprised to see BOTH Five Iron Frenzy (their cover of Rich’s classic You Gotta Get Up is a fun one & I DID vote for it – I think Rich would have appreciated their tribute) AND Stryper (though their Reason For the Season should ALSO have been on the voting list & I didn’t ened up going with Winter Wonderland). I regret voting for a couple that I just wanted to get votes & points for & not try to boost a couple of Amy’s songs higher now haha. Anyway, God bless, Happy & Blessed Thanksgiving, and Merry CHRISTmas (as ETW would say) to ALL at WJTL!!! Andrew J. Persac
