The senior Pastor of our church body is one of the most genuine men of God I know. He is transparent when he is preaching the truth of God’s word. When the meet and greet portion of the service somes around he will make a point to shake the hands of as most of the visitors that he can. When he gives you a huig you can feel the love of God flow though him. Pastor isn’t one that is a showboat pastor he allows all the pastors to preach and teach even him. He believes that each one of the sheep in the fold has a call on their lives and encourages each and everyone whether in the body or in the church office to pursue the calling of God in their lives. He is a man of God that I can strive to be like and I am sure that God has already put his name with all the other men in the “hall of faith”.

I like the fact that the pastor at my church preaches on different Spirit-led topics, has a
sense of humor, and a unique love for the Lord. The assistant pastor has a love for God,
has a heart for God’s people, and is just happy all the time.

Our Pastor, the Rev.Peter Froehlke is married to the Rev.Dale Selover Froelke . She is assistant pastor at Zion Luther in Oldwick NJ and he at Zion Lutheran in Long Valley NJ.They have two adopted daughters from China. The love they have for these two children reverberates throughout the 252 year old church. The congregations was well pleased as they led us on a spiritual journey in 2010 for our 250 anniversary by following Marten Luther’s trail through Germany An unbelievable experience to have our minister and his wife lead a communion service at the church where Marten Luther started the Reformation; with 55 members of our congregations in attendance along with some local residence.Pastor has come to our aid on an instant when my wife has taken ill and he knows each congregant by name as he administers the last supper. He also recognizes everyone before and after each of teh two Sunday Services.
