Sounds like just the nudge I would need!! It would certainly get my husband on board to paint a room if the supplies were provided! 😉

I couldn’t think of a better family project to do than to re-do our family room all together. The kids and both my husband and myself are always looking for joint projects, the fun part of this one would be sharing in the outcome…a beautiful family room!!!

I would love to re do our kitchen. It is so dark and unwelcoming. We love to entertain and share Christ’s love thru food but it makes it difficult when the kitchen is less than appealing. So we would love to brighten up the room and make it feel more like home 🙂

What a wonderful way to share the love of God, Sarah! You’ve got such a thoughtful heart of hospitality to even consider how the wall color can make people feel welcome!

Next week I will be painting our guest room. We moved to PA from OR last June, and are looking forward to having friends and family visit us here in beautiful PA! After I get the guest bedroom set up, I would like to do our master bedroom — I had just finished painting and getting new carpet (after 12 years) in our master bedroom when my husband’s job changed, and we had to move to PA. Now I have a new canvas on which to begin again. God has been so faithful to bless us with a good job and a beautiful house. I look forward to making it a real home, like the one we left in OR.

It has been a long winter and we still have some of our CHRISTMAS decoration up. The ones that we did take down left unsightly marks on the walls. My wife Lisa has been at me to paint the liveing room & dinning room for the past five years. I got out of it for the past three years due to having surgery but not this year. What a blessing it would be. Thanks

I entered my Sister – my 74 year old Mom lives with her – My Mom, has started to peel the wallpaper off of the living room walls, because she doesn’t like it. I hope my Sister wins, so she can “fix” what my Mom has started!

14 years ago I painted my bathroom with dark purple, found-on-clearance “oops” paint, sponge painted over with a shimmery purple glaze. Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time.
I yearn for a nice light bright bathroom that does not scare my guests!
