CROSSFIRE Singles Christmas Dance in Lancaster County

CROSSFIRE Singles Ministry will hold a Christmas dance for adult Christian singles on Saturday, December 2nd from 7-to-10 PM at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lititz. The dance features live music from singer-musician Kurt Brown. Cost is per person cash at the door, plus a snack, small dessert, or beverage to share. No alcohol permitted. “Beatles” Band from Lancaster Plays CROSSFIRE Singles Dance

CROSSFIRE Singles Ministry welcomes back “The Cavern Club,” a Beatles tribute band from Lancaster, to perform at a dance in Carlisle for Christian singles on Saturday, November 18th from 7:00 -10:00 p.m. The dance will be held at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Carlisle. Cost is cash at the door, plus a snack, small dessert, or beverage to share. No alcohol permitted. Beatles tribute band plays CROSSFIRE Singles Costume Dance

“The Cavern Club,” a Beatles tribute band based in Lancaster, returns to CROSSFIRE Singles Ministry to provide LIVE “Fab Four” music at the end-of-October Costume Dance for Christian singles on Saturday, October 28th from 7pm-10pm at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lititz. Please make sure your costumes are decent. Cost is  per person cash at the door, plus a snack, small dessert, or beverage to share. No alcohol permitted. For the first time ever, CROSSFIRE Singles Ministry holds a Chicken BBQ at the New Cumberland Apple Festival Saturday, September 30th from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at New Cumberland Borough Park. The carryout dinners include a grilled half-chicken, baked potato, a dinner roll, and applesauce. A limited number of BBQ Ribs dinners also will be available for the same price. The BBQ benefits CROSSFIRE, the largest non-profit ministry for adult Christian singles in south-central Pennsylvania. www.cfire.org

CROSSFIRE Chicken BBQ Fundraiser in Carlisle

A Chicken BBQ will be held Saturday, August 26th from 10 AM to 2 PM in the parking lot of Karns Quality Foods, 1706 Spring Road, Carlisle. The carryout dinners include a grilled half-chicken, baked potato, a dinner roll, and applesauce. A limited number of BBQ Ribs dinners also will be available for the same price. It is located just north of the fairgrounds on Route 34 (Spring Road). The BBQ benefits CROSSFIRE, the largest ministry for adult Christian singles in south-central Pennsylvania.  www.cfire.org

TESOL: Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages

TESOL: Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from July 10th to Aug. 4th at YWAM in Lebanon.  Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) course includes four weeks of intensive training in basic theories and methods of teaching English, intercultural communication for teachers, classroom management, how to work with different learning styles, testing, principles of language acquisition, as well as the sounds and grammar of English. An integral part of the training is the opportunity to practice teach during the course.  www.ywampa.org

Upon successful completion of the course, the student will receive a TESOL certificate and supporting documents from the Institute for the Nations, Lebanon PA.
