New Oxford’s 14th Annual Harvest Day Festival & Parade

Enjoy a fun-filled fall day in New Oxford. The annual Harvest Day Festival features a variety of vendors selling crafts, artisan products, farmers market items and food. There will be live entertainment throughout the event. Harvest Day also features a free children’s activity area with face painting and crafts. The parade rounds out the event, stepping off from New Oxford High School at 3 p.m.

It’s parade season!

If you’re anything like the WJTL Road Crew – you’re getting excited!
The WJTL suburban and Cookie Car are ready to go,
we have a music mix that will keep you dancing! Be sure to say hi as we go by!

Manheim Drive-thru Parade, October 7th

Drive Thru Parade

Manheim BIC Church is hosting a drive-thru parade on Wednesday, October 7th (rain date October 8th) from 5:00 pm – 8:30 pm.

This reverse parade will start off Stiegel Valley Road and weave its way through the parking lot of the church. It will include many sights and sounds of the traditional Manheim parade like rescue vehicles, farm equipment, animals, sponsor stands and giveaways. Be sure to wave as you pass by WJTL! The final point in the parade will be Manheim BIC’s FREE famous milkshakes! (while supplies last)

  • BEST decorated car!
  • Submit a photo of your special creation, animal, or whatever you would have entered or exhibited for competition to be displayed on a 21′ LED screen at the event.

Memorial Day Weekend – May 24-27, 2013

5) Fourth Friday Mount Joy, tonight (Friday, May 24) 5-8pm food, prizes, art, music and  Bobby Wehner in concert at the Aspire Community Center Mount Joy. More info: Mainstreetmountjoy.com

4) Carlisle Memorial Day Parade, Monday (May 27th) beginning at 9am at Hanover St. and ending at High Street. The Carlisle Memorial Day Parade features trucks, floats, bands and many local organizations. More info: 717 226-1966

3) Free Coffee House at Enola First Church of God in  Enola tonight,(Fri. May 24)  at 7pm, Featuring “Heartsong”.   Refreshments will be served.  A freewill offering will be received.

2) Strasburg Memorial Day Parade and Memorial Service,  Mon. May 27th. The parade begins at 9am. Colonel Stuart Roop, a 1984 graduate of Lampeter-Strasburg High School and a West Point graduate, will be the keynote speaker at the memorial service.  He is currently the Chief of Medicine at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.  There will also be a Hotdog Picnic following the parade at First Presbyterian Church in Strasburg.  More info: www.co.lancaster.pa.us/strasburg_boro

1) . Mount Joy Memorial Day Parade, tomorrow (Sat. May 25th) beginning at 2pm. The Mount Joy parade has its origin in the late 1800′s. This event is organized by volunteers and features many local fire companies, bands and organizations. Look for WJTL! More info: mountjoyborough.com
