You voted, now tune in to find out where your songs land on WJTL’s Top 500 Countdown, as voted by our family of listeners. We will kick things off this afternoon (Tuesday, April 17th) at 1pm. Then, we will count down the Top 500 Songs from 500 to 1 and end around 8 or 9pm on Thursday, April 19th.Along the way we will be giving you chances to win some great prizes.

How many people responded to the 500 count down?
My husband and I were driving South toward Florida (from Lancaster County) yesterday and were so glad to “take” WJTL with us. We had so much fun reminiscing with so many of the top 500 songs. “Remember when…” Thanks for compiling the list. Being numbers people, we are curious with a few questions:

This 500 countdown has been AMAZING!! I heard new songs and was reminded of all the songs I have loved over the years. We are really blessed to have such a huge repertoire of thought provoking, encouraging and uplifting songs of worship available to us every day. God is SO good…ALL THE TIME!

Hey Helen, The prizes on the 50s (450, 350, etc) are drawn from those who voted for their top 5 songs. The prizes on the Hundreds (500, 400, 300, 200, 100 and 10) are call-ins. Keep listening to win.
I’d be interested in the analytics, too. How many votes did Number 500 receive? How many did Number 1 receive? Thanks. I really enjoy the mix of oldies and new music in the countdown.

Listening to the countdown is like reading an old yearbook or scrapbook. It takes you back in time and allows you to recall your life when those songs were popular. I also like hearing a song only once a day- no repeats. It would be great if you could post the analytics when the countdown is complete. In particular, which artist has the most songs on the countdown???? Thanks!

Will there be a list of the top 500 songs
Is there a way to access the data on all this? How were ties determined. it would be interesting to see a combined top 500 from all the years together. Granted some songs weren’t even out, but interesting nonetheless.
I love the top 500 countdown. Two of my favorite songs are number one and number two. I love voting and now that all songs have been revealed how many votes did I Can Only Imagine get. I love the movie also. Thank you WJTL for playing any song from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and today. I love the variety that is played. You do not play the same song twice in a day and your playlist is different from day to day. Thank you also for being on the web because I live just outside of the listening area.
I didn’t get to hear the whole countdown. Do you have a list of all 500 songs & how they placed?
