Kraybill Benefit Auction & Pig Roast

Plans are underway for our 45th annual Kraybill Mennonite School Benefit Pig Roast and Auction, to be held Friday & Saturday, May 12 & 13, 2023. This is our biggest fundraising event of the year. The proceeds support our annual fund which is used to aid in costs related to all aspects of our school and greatly helps to keep tuition affordable. We are working to make this an online and in person event. Activities include: LIVE auction, children’s tent with games, dunk tank and soccer kick, inflatables, food stands, chicken and pork BBQ, Saturday morning breakfast and baked good available all weekend!

Student Benefit Auction

Our annual student benefit auction will be held on Saturday, March 25 at 9AM in the gym at Manor Church. Come and bid generously to support our students who will be serving others and making an impact! This summer, students will be serving in Washington D.C. with Praying Pelican Missions.

We are looking for a variety of items like gift certificates, baked goods, home decor, and more! If you are an individual or organization who would like to make a donation, please reach out to our Youth Ministry Director, Beau Walmer. Donations can be dropped off at the church on 3/19. Alternate times for donation drop off can be arranged if necessary. If you have any questions about the pieces you’re committing to donate, please reach out. We can only take a very limited amount of furniture donations, so if you are planning to donate furniture, please reach out to us in advance!

True Life Youth Capital Campaign Kick-Off and Historic Auction

A New Youth Center is Coming to Lebanon PA!

True Life Youth Ministries is building a new youth center in Lebanon. The community is invited to attend the Capital Campaign Kickoff “Build Hope” on Saturday, December 10, at 10:00 a.m. The event will be held at the former Christ Presbyterian Church, 1300 West Maple Street, Lebanon PA. In November 2020, the congregation of the historic church, near the entrance to Coleman’s Park, donated the church and 3.4 acres of land to True Life Youth Ministries.

The True Life Youth Center will be a safe, healthy environment where kids can enjoy being kids. It will be a place where students experience a sense of family. A place where they can be taught life skills. A place to help prepare them for their future. Most importantly, this home will be a sacred place where students of all ages will be introduced to Jesus and where their faith will grow.

The building plans include expanding the gym, enlarging the kitchen, adding dining room space, and making needed repairs to the existing building and is expected to cost $1.2 million. The youth currently involved in True Life’s programs are excited to use the new space.

The Christ Church was built in 1870 by G. Dawson Coleman and Deborah B. Coleman “for the spiritual benefit of the furnace workers and their families.” In 1890, Christ Church became Christ Presbyterian Church. True Life is committed to carrying on the mission of the Coleman family.

In addition to the Capital Campaign Kickoff, beginning at 9:00 a.m. an auction will be held in the historic church’s social hall. Vintage items used by the Colemans in the Christ Church and by the congregation of the Christ Presbyterian Church will be sold. True Life wants these unique pieces to be preserved and appreciated for years to come. Proceeds from the sale will be used to restore the stone church and for the capital campaign.

At 10:00 a.m. the auction will pause for the Capital Campaign Kickoff. The auction will resume immediately following the kickoff. True Life is grateful for the widespread community support in the past and welcomes community prayer and financial support for this project as we “Build Hope” for the future.

True Life Youth Ministries, originally Lebanon Valley Youth For Christ, was founded in 1945 with the mission of building a community of young lives changed by Jesus Christ.

The auction will take place both days featuring theme baskets,
gift certificates, home decor, trips, landscape items, and so much more.

Manheim Christian Day School’s 43rd Annual Benefit Auction & Family Fun Days are happening this Friday & Saturday, April 26 and 27.

A Pork BBQ Dinner will kick off the event on Friday.
