Kids Cookie Break Fest 14 Details

The 3rd Annual Kids Cookie Break Fest is tomorrow (Saturday, Aug 30). It is amazing to be celebrating 15 Years of The Kids Cookie Break Program on WJTL.

Here are a few things for those of you who will be attending…
Gates will open at 9am for those of you with Morning Program Tickets (please don’t come any earlier than that, we won’t be ready for you and you will have to wait). Gates will open at 2:30pm for those of you with Afternoon Program Tickets.

The Junction Center is located at 1875 Junction Rd, Manheim, on the backside of Roots Market and down the road from the Manheim Auto Auction.

Please remember to bring DIAPERS, WIPES, and/or FORMULA to donate to Susquehanna Valley Pregnancy Services and House of His Creation.  Donations will be collected at popup tents located near each parking area. Thank You!
Please have everyone fill out their registration ticket. Tickets will be collected at popup tents located near each parking area.Only those with tickets will be able to attend. We will draw names from the tickets to win prizes throughout the event.
For those who pre-purchased boxed lunches for the Morning Program, they may be picked up between 11am and 1pm in the food court. For those who pre-purchased boxed lunches for the Afternoon Program they may be picked up between 5pm and 6:30pm in the food court. There will be other food and beverage vendors on site.

5) Chalk the Lot Sponsored by Fulton Street Arts Cooperative, Sunday (Aug 31) 11am to 4pm at 321 Fulton Street in Lancaster. Families are invited to help fill the parking lot and sidewalk surrounding the co-op with chalk art! Chalk will be provided, but feel free to bring some along. More info:

2)  27th Annual Heart of Lancaster Arts & Craft Show at Roots Country Market in Manheim. Free event, tomorrow (Saturday Aug 30) and Sunday (Aug 31) 10am to 4pm both days, rain or shine.

1) And we just couldn’t leave this big event off our list – Kids Cookie Break Festival 14, tomorrow (Sat, Aug 30) – 2 Programs 10am-2pm and 3pm-7pm – featuring Slugs & Bugs, Steven Courtney, Barrel Rides, Candy Drop, Big Bright Bounce Houses, Petting Zoo and More. For those with tickets to this “sold out” event, we will see you tomorrow. Tune in to WJTL througout the day as we will occasionally cut away for stage performances and interviews.

Tent Season Contest

It’s Tent Season!  The Junction Center Tent is up here on the property in Manheim and we’re loving this year’s lineup of concerts and events, which will keep on going until the weather starts cooling off again.  The Junction Center Tent is a unique venue for all the great entertainment we have planned: it’s outdoors, it’s heated and it’s all-weather, so the show can go on rain or shine.  The tent can be converted to an amphitheater in nice weather and for extra-large events.  We have a lot planned already and are adding events all the time.  View the schedule of concerts, entertainment, movie nights and more at
