Dan & Lauren Smith Winning Wednesday

5. The AACA Eastern Divisional Antique Car Show, tomorrow, (Saturday, October 11) from dawn to dusk on the grounds of the Giant Center and the parking lots surrounding Hersheypark. One of the largest collection of Antique Cars in the world – Over 1200 cars and 3000 vendors. Free to attenders. More info: hersheyaaca.org

4. Haldeman Mansion Apple Fall Festival, Sunday (October 12) noon – 4pm on the grounds of the Haldeman Mansion, Locust Grove Rd in Bainbridge. Mansion Tours, Apple Cider Press, contests, live music and a visit by Johnny Appleseed, plus Apple-themed food & refreshments. The event is free, though there is a fee for parking.

3. The Last day of the Manheim Farm Show, today (Friday, October 10) from 10am to 8pm at the Manheim Farm Show Grounds on Adele Avenue. Food, Entertainment, Livestock and Farming exhibits, rides and more. More Info: http://www.manheimfarmshow.org

2. Freedom Fest 5k Run, Walk and Family Fun Run, tomorrow (Saturday, October 11th) at the Christiana Fire Hall, Hosted by Freedom Life Church, the purpose of the event is to bring neighbors, businesses and organizations together to raise awareness and support against human trafficking.  There will also be kids’ games, fun activities, giveaways and food. Crowder “Live From The Junction Center”

Crowder will be in the area this Friday to play a sold-out concert at LBC with Capital Kings and Ellie Holcomb.  Yep,  sold-out.  However…there’s one more chance for you to experience some measure of his music, vernacular eloquence, beard and sheer unpredictability: Crowder will be “Live From The Junction Center” on Friday afternoon, October 10th, at 3:30.  Crowder will present an acoustic-style mini-concert for a live studio audience, which WJTL will broadcast on air as it happens.  We’ll serve coffee courtesy of The Good Java Company and pumpkin desserts provided by Stauffer’s Of Kissel Hill.

Space is limited for this exclusive event.  If you want to attend, you must win your way onto our guest list.  Tune in to WJTL all day long on Thursday, October 09th.  The DJs will tell you when its time to call in to win spots on the guest list.  You may want to keep us on speed dial: 392-FM90 (717-392-3690).

 

 

The Michael Ferrari “Live From The Junction Center”

Tent Season Contest

It’s Tent Season!  The Junction Center Tent is up here on the property in Manheim and we’re loving this year’s lineup of concerts and events, which will keep on going until the weather starts cooling off again.  The Junction Center Tent is a unique venue for all the great entertainment we have planned: it’s outdoors, it’s heated and it’s all-weather, so the show can go on rain or shine.  The tent can be converted to an amphitheater in nice weather and for extra-large events.  We have a lot planned already and are adding events all the time.  View the schedule of concerts, entertainment, movie nights and more at www.TheJunctionCenter.com
