Join an evening of a cappella masterpieces celebrating the milestone of 10 years from the date of the Chamber Singers’ first concert. The program will feature this year’s ensemble performing favorite repertoire from the past decade as chosen by Chamber Singers alumni. The concert will end with a rousing finale performed by Chamber Singers, both past and present.

Organist Balint Karosi

Balint Karosi, organist at St. Peter’s Lutheran in New York City, will present an afternoon of organ music on Oct. 14th from 5pm-5pm.    This concert is free and open to the public.  Hear the wide-ranging colors of the Schantz organ at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Lancaster, PA.  (located at the corner of Delp Road and Lititz Pike).  Selections will be from Bach, Franck, Jongen, Vierne and more.  A goodwill offering will be taken at intermission.

Juliet, the daugher of Dana Jacques, is a senior at Williamspost Area High School.
She is a viola student of Dr. Kenneth Sarch and has been studying the instrument for eight years.
A member of the Millionaire Strolling Strings, Millionaire Quartet, and the school Sinfonietta.

Pianist Ann Leisawitz

St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Lancaster, PA, is joining with the Lancaster Jewish Family Services to host a benefit concert featuring local pianist, Ann Leisawitz on Oct. 8th from 3pm-5pm.  This event will be held at St. Peter’s at the corner of Delp Road and Lititz Pike, Lancaster.   The concert is free and open to the public.   Donations will be accepted at the door to benefit the Lancaster Jewish Family Services, a non-profit, non-denominational, non-sectarian agency that assists Lancaster County residents in acute need.

Praise In The Park on Saturday, September 16 from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM at Crouse Park and hosted by Bethel Assembly of God in Littlestown.  Music genres will include hymns, contemporary choruses, vocals, as well as instrumental pieces. Sidewalk Prophets Concert

See Sidewalk Prophets in concert August 26th at 7pm at West York Area Middle School to benefit Every Child is Worthy Ministries (ECW), helping disabled orphans around the world through outreach, restoration, and the message of Jesus Christ. ECW is partnering with Church of the Open Door in York, PA to present Dove Award winning artist, Sidewalk Prophets and YouTube sensation Christopher Duffley for an evening of story-telling, music, and fun! Sidewalk Prophets is a contemporary Christian music band from Nashville, Tennessee. This event was created not only to bring awareness to ECW, but also to highlight what God can do in the life of a special needs child.  Free concert!

Susquehanna Chorale to Perform at Mt. Gretna

The national award-winning Susquehanna Chorale will perform “Music for a Summer’s Evening” at Mt. Gretna’s open-air Tabernacle on Aug. 20th at 7pm. The Chorale’s Founder and Artistic Director, Linda L. Tedford, will conduct the Chorale in its appearance as part of Mt. Gretna’s Summer at the Tabernacle concert series. Repertoire for the concert will present the varied faces and sources of joy, hope, and enthusiasm for life as presented by some of the Chorale’s favorite British and American composers.

Evening of Worship with Phil Stacey

Evening of Worship with Phil Stacey on Friday, Aug. 17th at 7pm at Bethel Assembly of God in Littlestown. Phil Stacey is a Christian recording artist and a worship leader at a large Assembly of God church in Kansas. Phil was one of the top 5 finalists on the 6th season of American Idol.
