Piercing Word Presents “Sermon on the Mount: the Musical”

July 9th, 2017 No comments

The Piercing Word performance team will perform the original production “Sermon on the Mount:  The Musical” during free, public performances at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday, July 9, at Calvary Church in Lancaster.

Piercing Word performs scripture in dramatic and musical presentations, word for word from the ESV Bible, with the vision of “The Scripture is their script!” “Sermon on the Mount: The Musical” is the inspiring narrative of one of Jesus Christ’s most famous messages, featuring the Beatitudes (blessings of God) and some of the New Testament’s most well-known phrases.

Calvary’s Lower Auditorium will also host the rest of the 2017 Piercing Word Presents series, which includes “Ephesians” on Sept. 17 and “Grace Family Christmas” on Dec. 3.  Free tickets and more information are available at www.piercingword.org/presents.  The opportunity for a free-will donation is offered at the end of each performance.
