Extra Life Tabletop Game Day

FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY! New Life Assembly in East Berlin is hosting a Tabletop Game Day. Play in support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals® through Extra Life. Extra Life is a fun way to support the mission to save and improve the lives of children at our local CMN Hospital, specifically Penn State Children’s Hospital. Every dollar raised during the event will fund critical treatments, healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment, charitable care and more for our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Admission is free, though donations are encouraged!

Everyone is invited to Trunk or Treat on Oct. 28th from 6-8pm at Salem United Methodist Church in Rothsville. An evening of safe Halloween fun for the whole family, and it’s all free! Kids and their parents will be invited to ‘trick-or-treat’ from the trunks of decorated cars in our parking lot. There will be games, food, activities, fellowship and more!! Dress in your best costume and bring a friend! No scary costumes please.

Harvest Festival

Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 28 from 6pm-9pm at Lancaster Bible College. Costumes are encouraged, admission (and candy!) are free, and students at Lancaster Bible College have prepared fun, fall-themed games for attendees. Local food vendors will also be on-site for the festival, along with a bounce house for kids. And while this family-friendly event is free, registration is preferred.

8th Annual Mental Illness Awareness Walk

8th Annual Mental Illness Awareness Walk on Oct. 14th at 10am. The walk will conclude the recognition of Mental Illness Awareness Week, October 1-7, and is a very important part of NAMI’s mission.

We’re still accepting vendors, with the exception of food vendors. Register at www.namiyork.org .  NAMI believes that mental illnesses are physical illnesses that affect the brain, and with treatment, most individuals can lead a productive and happy life. For over 33 years, NAMI York County has worked tirelessly to advocate for, support, and educate people with mental illness and their families.
