5. 4th Annual Back To School Fun Day at Winterstown United Methodist Church near Felton (South of York) tomorrow (Saturday, August 15) from 10am-1pm.  Inflatable rides, games, wagon rides, face painting and food. Backpacks and school supplies will be given away while they last to all elementary and preschool children. The York Revolution mascot “Downtown” will be on hand. Chiques Church of the Brethren Family Fun Event, Sunday (August 9) at the church located Northwest of Manheim by Elizabethtown and Sunnyside Roads.  Children’s games start at 3:30 followed by a free picnic meal for everyone at 5pm.  Gospel group “Set Free” performs at 7pm. 5) New Cumberland Public Library Celebrate the Fourth of July event, on the  lawn, 1 Benjamin Plaza, New Cumberland, tomorrow (Sat July 4) beginning at 10:30am.  The New Cumberland Town Band will present a concert of patriotic music and show tunes. 4) East Petersburg Movie In The Park tomorrow ( Sat. July 4) From 8:30-10:15 at East Petersburg Community Park. After the movie, Lancaster Toyota will present an Indepenence Day Fireworks Display.

Zip Line Canopy Tour Preview for Youth Workers

If you’re a youth worker (pastor, staffer, volunteer), we have a special contest this week just for you!  Listen all day long Monday – Friday (April 21-25th) for your chance to attend a special Zip Line Canopy Tour Preview–just for youth workers–at Refreshing Mountain Retreat & Adventure Center in Northern Lancaster County.  The canopy tour features 7 zip lines spanning over 3,500 feet, along with 3 sky bridges.  The special preview event for youth workers is happening on Thursday, May 1st from 1-3 p.m.
